Red Roots Foundation

For a hundred years, the Armenian people have been suffering from the long-term mental health effects and trauma of the genocide perpetrated by the Ottoman Empire in 1915. This trauma has caused the Armenian community to close itself to outsiders and be skeptical of those around them. This mentality is slowly being passed down from generation to generation, myself included, and the only way to prevent this from happening is to speak about our trauma and come together as a community. The identity and website for this foundation is looking to educate those on the history of the genocide and help bring Armenians together to upheave this trauma from our culture collectively.
